Adrian Newey ‘s future in F1 remains uncertain after his shock Red Bull exit. Multiple people believe that the 65-year-old will quit the sport completely. However, Ferrari’s constant interest in the aero-genius makes people feel that Newey will move to Maranello. The Englishman has yet to confirm his future in the pinnacle of motorsport.

Adrian Newey‘s shock exit from Red Bull caught everyone off-guard. The 65-year-old has been the point of interest for Aston Martin and especially Ferrari. Newey has been rumored to join Ferrari in the coming season after exiting from the Austrian constructor. Scuderia was all ready to provide the aero-genius with a ‘blank check’ and also a higher salary and ‘more freedoms’ as compared to his Red Bull contract.

According to recent reports, Adrian Newey is close to joining Ferrari in the coming months. The aero-genius is rumored to receive a massive paycheck from Maranello. This salary will be higher than his previous salary of almost $19 million at Red Bull. Hence, the 65-year-old has great prospects for working with Ferrari in the coming season. Additionally, the Hamilton-Newey duo could take the seven-time world champion to great lengths with Lewis Hamilton’s Maranello arrival.

Fred Vasseur issues no comment on Adrian Newey Ferrari rumors

Adrian Newey’s work in multiple teams has led them to monumental success. The aero-genius had an exceptional understanding of the regulation changes. Hence, if the 65-year-old joins Ferrari in the coming season, the real effect will be visible in the regulation changes of the 2026 season. However, Fred Vasseur declined to comment any further on the status quo.

Fred Vasseur highlighted Newey’s mega record in the history of Formula 1. The Team Principal reckoned that the 65-year-old was the most successful engineer in the paddock. However, the 55-year-old refused to issue any comments regarding the move to the Italian constructor for the Englishman. Regardless, the aero-genius will soon provide clarity over his future in the pinnacle of motorsport.
